The reward for information leading to additional arrests in a September murder in Savannah has been raised after CrimeStoppers received thousands of dollars in donations.
Basheen Fayon Hills, 20, was charged and indicted on murder charges in the Sept. 26 shooting death of Gregory Bivin, however investigators are continuing to search for any other person or persons who may have been involved in the slaying, said Catherine Neal, CrimeStoppers spokeswoman.
Bivin’s body was found slain in his 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra about 2 p.m. that day in the 2300 block of Lorraine Drive in east Savannah.
Since then family and friends of Bivin have donated about $6,000 to CrimeStoppers, raising the reward for information leading to other arrests in the case to up to $8,500.
