A house fire this morning forced a Savannah family from its home on Christmas Day.
American Red Cross Disaster Action Team members responded to the fire at 4305 Liberty Parkway where minor fire damage and water damage forced a mother and her four children from their home, said Robin Wingate, Southeast Georgia Red Cross director.
The family was provided funds for food, temporary shelter and clothing, Wingate said.
The fire likely started in the attic.
