Senior Citizens, Inc.’s Annual Blanket Drive
Beginning Jan. 7 through Jan. 31, anyone donating a new blanket at the following Starbucks coffee stores and at SCI headquarters will receive a coupon for a free tall cup of coffee from Starbucks. The Blanket Drive will kick-off on Monday, Jan. 7 from 6-10 a.m. at the Starbucks Coffee store located at 1 East Broughton St.
Locations include: 49 E. Montgomery Crossroads, 2106 E. Victory Drive, 1 E. Broughton Street, 5500 Abercorn Street (Twelve Oaks Shopping Center), 7804 Abercorn Street (Oglethorpe Mall).

Savannah Tea Party Meeting
5:30 p.m. Jan. 7. B&D Burgers, 11108 Abercorn St. The Savannah Tea Party meets the first Monday of the month. Discussions will include how the Savannah Tea Party can help get the American dream back on track. Begins Jan. 8. Seven-week morning or evening adult educational/support group offering tools to learn with loss meets Tuesday mornings from 10-11 a.m. or Thursday evenings from 6-7 p.m. Next groups begin Jan. 8, 2013 at Full Circle, 450 Mall Blvd, Suite H. Support is offered free of charge as a service of not for profit Hospice Savannah. Help is just a phone call away, 912-303-9442.

Children’s’ Grief Group
Begins Jan. 8. Seven-week structured educational support group for children ages 6–17 offering support and coping tools and utilizing play and activity to learn to live with loss. Next group begins Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 6- 7 p.m. at Full Circle, 450 Mall Blvd., Suite H. Support is offered free of charge as a service of not for profit Hospice Savannah, Inc. The Seven Week Diabetes Repair Workshop

Call for artists
Lutheran Services of Georgia invites you to bring out your artistic creations for the Charity Art Auction scheduled for Feb. 28, 2013.  We welcome 5 x 7 submissions - whether they be photographs, paintings, watercolors, oils, ceramics - for judging. Other sizes to be auctioned are also welcome.
Items need not be framed.  Proceeds of the Art Auction will benefit Savannah programs. Submissions may be dropped off at 6555 Abercorn St, Suite 200, by Feb.7, or call Katherine McKenzie at 912-353-8875, ext. 112.
