“Everyday Sightings”
January and February. The Hospice Savannah Art Gallery, 1352 Eisenhower Drive. A show of new photographs by Michael E. Ellison and paintings by Mary Ellen McLaughlin will be on display during January and February 2013 at the Hospice Savannah Art Gallery. Entitled “Everyday Sightings” the show focuses on Michael’s quirky shots of people and buildings in his day to day world, and on Mary Ellen’s exquisitely executed still-life renderings of such everyday objects as garlic bulbs or teacups. The public is invited to meet the artists at their opening wine and cheese reception between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 10.
Call for artists
Lutheran Services of Georgia invites you to bring out your artistic creations for the Charity Art Auction scheduled for Feb. 28, 2013. We welcome 5 x 7 submissions - whether they be photographs, paintings, watercolors, oils, ceramics - for judging. Other sizes to be auctioned are also welcome.
