Police investigators believe a medical condition caused a 74-year-old man to crash his car into a brick fence near the intersection of Waters Avenue and Eisenhower Drive Saturday afternoon.
Savannah-Chatham police spokesman Julian Miller the gold Cadillac driven by the man crossed over a curb and through shrubbery next to the Green Tea restaurant before crashing into the fence.
The man was transported to Memorial University Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition Saturday night.
Miller said Savannah-Chatham’s Major Accident Investigation Team was continuing to look into the accident.
