Traffic in downtown Savannah will be rerouted for several hours Monday during the Martin Luther King Day Parade.
Savannah-Chatham police will close down streets and intersections along the parade route that begins at West Anderson Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at 9:45 a.m. Streets should reopen by 2 p.m., said Julian Miller, police spokesman.
From its starting point the parade will travel north on MLK to Broughton Street, east on Broughton to East Broad Street and south on East Broad to East Jones Street, where it will end.
