A woman was fatally shot at a southside Savannah apartment complex Monday evening.
Police were called about 7 p.m. to a shooting at the Colonial Village at Marsh Cove apartments off White Bluff Road, where they found a woman who was fatally shot in a car, said police spokesman Julian Miller.
Miller said the woman had been removed from the car by the time police arrived. Violent crimes detectives and forensics units were on the scene conducting an investigation.
Police had not identified the woman or released any information about suspects. No further information was provided by police.
