Savannah-Chatham police are seeking help from the public in identifying and locating two men they say assaulted and robbed a Savannah man on a downtown street and may be involved in other incidents.
The men attacked and robbed the victim walking to work near Lincoln and York streets at about 4 p.m. Monday, police said.
One suspect is a black male with a dark-complexion who was wearing a black sweat shirt, blue jeans and had dreadlocks in his hair. The other is a black male with a light-complexion who was wearing a white rag over his hair, orange sweat shirt and Timberland boots.
A photo of men matching the description of the robbers walking near the area has been provided. Detectives from the Savannah-Chatham police robbery unit would like to talk to the men in the photograph.
