A Savannah man was treated for a gunshot wound Wednesday night after being struck by a bullet two other men fired at his apartment door, Savannah-Chatham police reported.
The victim was taken to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment of the injury after the 6:20 p.m. shooting at the Turtle Creek Apartments on the 11900 block of White Bluff Road.
Police said two men fired multiple rounds at the door of the apartment before leaving in a vehicle. The victim said he recognized one of the men, said Julian Miller, police spokesman.
Violent crimes detectives continue to investigate the shooting.
