Four men are being interviewed after surrendering to Savannah-Chatham police surrounding the house where detectives say they were hiding following a home invasion robbery Monday.
Islands precinct officers were called to the 2300 block of Downing Avenue where victims told them that the gunmen had entered the residence and had stolen items.
Soon after, central precinct officers located a gray Infiniti that was seen leaving the robbery location in the 1600 block of East 37th Street, police said.
Two men were found trying to enter another car in the garage and two others in the house signaled to police outside that they wanted to surrender, police reported.
Detectives from the SCMPD Robbery Unit are continuing to investigate the incident.
