“We’re thrilled with the breadth and depth of this year’s lineup,” said Peter Robaudo, Stopover's director of talent and systems management, “and with the addition of new tools that will allow people to really plan and customize their own personal schedule.”
You can check out the full, interactive schedule by clicking here, with bios from all participating bands. This year fans can create custom schedules, save to their mobile phones or share through various social media using custom scheduling software from sched. The festival will roll out its new mobile app from Savannah company Tour Buddy in a few weeks.
Stopover also confirmed two new locations with the addition of the new B&D Burgers at 209 W. Congress St. to its list of 2013 participating venues. B&D will host bands in the upper level of the space late into the evening, as well as three bands per day on its new outdoor patio. Past Stopover favorites Cheyenne Mize, Christopher Paul Stelling, this mountain and Country Mice are among those scheduled to perform on the patio.
In addition, Stopover will take over the space at 217 W. Broughton St., formerly occupied by The Clothing Warehouse, as its festival headquarters beginning the week of Feb. 11 through March 10. The location will serve as a temporary ticket office as well as the check-in and registration site where all ticketholders will pick up their wristbands and credentials.
The Savannah Morning News, SavannahNow and Savannah Magazine recently partnered with Stopover as major sponsors of this year's festival, including the March 7 opening night concert at Ships of the Sea Museum and the free-to-the-public March 8 bash in Forsyth Park with indie rockers Royal Canoe and of Montreal.
“We’re beyond excited about how this year’s festival is shaping up and grateful to all the bands, venues, sponsors and volunteers who continue to support us as we grow," said Kayne Lanahan, Stopover founder and CEO. “It’s really been heart-warming to see the outpouring of support this year.”

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The March 7 Stopover kickoff at Ships of the Sea is definitely where the magic begins. The Last Bison, a fast-rising band from the mountains of Virginia, are paired with experimental cellist Ben Sollee for a show that will really showcase the range of sounds featured at the festival this year.
Other March 7 highlights are Merchandise with Thurston Moore's Chelsea Light Moving at the Knights of Columbus on Liberty Street; and a three-act bill at The Jinx with Calvin Love, Naomi Punk and soon-to-be-indie-superstar Mac DeMarco.
On March 8, it's the biggest performance of the festival: Athens' legends of Montreal with Canada's Royal Canoe in a free Forsyth Park blowout sponsored by the Savannah Morning News. That concert, emceed by Savannah's own Lloyd "KidSyc" Harold, is sure to draw a crowd in the thousands. Show up early and be ready to stand.
Other March 8 notables: Congress Street Social Club will host a great night of acts kicked off by the Savannah College of Art and Design Battle of the Bands winner (tba) at 5 p.m. You can probably catch that show and make it to Forsyth in time for the blowout Concert in the Park. Inside B&D, there's a great lineup with the bizarre Jacco Gardner, followed by the genius Sean Bones and Fossil Collective. And Snowmine, one of the hottest bands coming into Stopover this spring, is at Knights of Columbus after midnight.
March 9 has a wide range of acts -- from punk to country -- playing all the venues throughout downtown. The show that should catch everyone's attention is Jonathan Toubin's Soul Clap and Dance Off, which will be spinning records and turning the Jepson Center into a dance hall at 11 p.m. Australian country artist Henry Wagons will play a memorable midnight show at Congress Street Social Club. And don't overlook the 9-midnight closing rock show at The Jinx. Bricks will be falling from the historic buildings on Congress Street when Bear Fight!, Single Mothers, VietNam and Turbo Fruits shred the stage.
