Savannah-Chatham police and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation are on scene outside a Savannah Wells Fargo bank where an armored vehicle was robbed.
About 11:15 a.m., today a group of men approached the armored vehicle after it had pulled up to an ATM at the bank in the 1900 block of Victory Drive, said Julian Miller, metro police spokesman. The men showed personnel from the vehicle a gun, took money and fled the scene.
The workers were not injured.
Miller said police - including a helicopter - are searching the area for the suspects.
