‘What Is New Thought?’ screening
5:30 p.m. Feb. 10. Unity of Savannah. Unity of Savannah will be screening a new documentary titled “What Is New Thought?” on Feb. 10. The movie is centered around the new thought spiritual movement dating back more than 150 years. Unity of Savannah’s music director and co-minister Dale Worley will be featured in the film and the filmmaker, Jon Miller, will be there for the screening, as well. Deborah’s beautiful stoneware and raku clay works are creations inspired by her surroundings and at times, Asian design. Her work is functional and decorative. JEA to feature Marcia Neblett and Beth Baronian
Feb. 1-28. The Jewish Educational Alliance, 5111 Abercorn St. The JEA will show the works of Marcia Neblett and Beth Baronian during February. Neblett prints play homage to masterful printmaking of the past while being of their own time and sensibility. She is a professor of foundations at SCAD. Baronian received a full scholarship to Carnegie-Mellon University to pursue a master of fine art in the field of costume design. Professor Beth Baronian is now teaching full-time at SCAD.
