Port Wentworth police are looking for a missing woman and her 2-year-old daughter.
Carolyn Sapp Downing, 37, and Emily Sapp, 2, were last seen about 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ramada Limited in Port Wentworth, said Sgt. Steven Holmes, Criminal Investigations Division commander with the police department.
Holmes said both Downing and Sapp are believed to be in danger.
Downing is white, has green eyes and brown hair, is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds, Holmes said. Police did not know what kind of clothing she was last seen wearing.
Sapp is white, has blue eyes and curly light brown or blonde hair, is approximately 2 feet tall and weighs 20 pounds. She was last seen wearing pink pants and a pink top, Holmes said.
Holmes asked that anyone with information about the whereabouts of the mother and daughter to call 911.
