Collard Greens Festival

High Cotton Kids spring consignment sale

Any student who has the desire to volunteer or has a community service commitment can volunteer at either one of the Boys & Girls Club facilities. Oyster Roast on the Coast

In celebration of Georgia’s beautiful coast, this year’s Oyster Roast, presented by Georgia Power, will be March 2. Guests will enjoy Sapelo Sea Farms oysters and clams, responsibly harvested from the Sapelo River in McIntosh County, Georgia. In addition to oysters and clams, guests can enjoy beer from Atlanta’s SweetWater Brewing Company, barbecue from “Memphis in May” champion Billy Steve Satterfield and the sounds of local Savannah alternative rock musicians Benton Hill. Junior League accepting Kids Who Care scholarship applications
Through March 15. Kids Who Care is a program designed to salute high school seniors who have made a positive difference in the lives of others by volunteering. Five $1,000 college scholarships will be awarded to local seniors from the Lowcountry area in recognition of their outstanding volunteer service and community involvement. These scholarships are not based on academic or athletic ability. Nominations may be made by anyone; principals, counselors, students, community groups and individuals, as well as self-nomination by the student. ‘The Three Musketeers’
