The Savannah Morning News, savannahnow.com and Savannah Magazine are proud to be the presenting sponsors of tonight's highly anticipated free, all-ages concert in the park featuring legendary indie rockers of Montreal. Royal Canoe from Winnipeg, Canada will open and Savannah musician Lloyd “KidSyc” Harold will emcee the show.
The event is part of the 2013 Savannah Stopover festival, a 3-day schedule of music performances from bands traveling down I-95 en route to South by Southwest, an annual music, film, and interactive conference and festival held in Austin, TX.
Tonight's show will feature a special bar area for festival V.I.P pass holders, bicycle valet parking service provided Savannah Bicycle Campaign, and a Savannah Morning News tent where representatives will be offering prizes to anyone who has downloaded the St. Patrick's Day mobile app.
Stopover features a wide variety of musical styles -- including indie rock, pop, dance, folk, hip hop, electronica, bluegrass and country. Click here to view a slideshow of the 30 Must-see bands during Savannah Stopover 2013
