A.E. Beach High School Class of 1952 meeting
4 p.m. March 14. Forrest City Library. The A.E. Beach High School Class of 1952 will meet at the Forest City Library from 4-5 p.m. March 14.

Davenport House — Teas in March
5 p.m. March 14, 15, 20, 21; 4:30 p.m. March 29. Davenport House Museum, 324 E. State St. Learn about tea traditions and experience an early 19th-century tea in the historic atmosphere of the Isaiah Davenport House Museum. Patrons will tour areas of the historic home where tea service took place and will participate in an afternoon tea with costumed interpreters. Boys & Girls Clubs Summer Program Registration
Registration for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Empire Summer Program is now in progress. The Boys & Girls Club summer program is offered at two sites; the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club, located at 510 East Charlton Street and the Kayton-Frazier Boys & Girls Club, located at 801 Brewer Street. The programs will run from June 10-August 2 for age’s kindergarten to age 12. Hours of operation for the Frank Callen Unit are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Cost:  $120 per child/ $130 for new members. The Kayton – Frazier Unit will operate from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Cost:  $2 for current and new members. Lunch and dinner are served daily at both units.

The Demands of Contemporary Democracy
7:30 p.m. March 14. Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St. What is the position of United States’ diplomacy in the 21st century world driven by demographics, technological and informational revolutions, and globalization? How can the U.S. build an effective diplomatic cadre to support and advance its global role and responsibilities? Susan R. Johnson, career member of the Senior Foreign Service will be the speaker. Free for members, students and accompanying family members, educators, and active military and their dependents. $10 for non-members.

Pastoral anniversary
7:30 p.m. March 14 and 15; 5 p.m. March 17. Abercorn Baptist Church, 500 Old Agusta Road. Abercorn Baptist Church will celebrate the First Pastoral anniversary of Pastor Ansley Harrison and First Lady Lakesha Harrison on March 14, 15 and 17. The culmination service will be March 17 and the speaker will be Pastor Wilson Scott. The public is invited.

Jewish Journeys: Art Exhibit and free workshops
Feb. 27 through March 17. Jewish Educational Alliance, 5111 Abercorn St. Jewish Journeys, an 18 day art exhibit presented by MorningStar Cultural Arts Group in honor of their 24th birthday is free and open to the general public from the 5 p.m. opening reception on Feb. 27 until Sunday March 17. Featuring the works and the talents of two dozen artists, speakers, presenters and workshop facilitators all free classes and interactive presentations require pre-registration by Feb. 20 as workshop size is limited. Workshops are free and open to men and women, though space is limited and pre-registration is required online at www.savannahjea.org, by calling the JEA 912-355-8111.

Contemporary Prints from Hungary
March. Savannah Center for Fine Art, 41 Drayton St. Savannah Center for Fine Art is pleased to announce an exhibition of fine prints published by eleven of Hungary’s leading graphic artists. There will be an opening reception on Friday, March 1, from 6-9 p.m. The exhibition will run through the end of March. Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 12-5 p.m.
