Archaeobus comes to Armstrong
10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. March 18. At the end of University Drive, outside of University Hall, Armstrong Atlantic State University, 11935 Abercorn St. As part of the AASU spring 2013 archaeology program, Digging Savannah, the Society for Georgia Archaeology’s mobile classroom, the Archaeobus, is coming to the Armstrong campus. The Archaeobus is a converted bookmobile that travels throughout the state to offer educational programming and self-directed activities, all with the goal of raising awareness of Georgia’s archaeology to help preserve, study and interpret the state’s past. The Archaeobus is free and open to the public.

Pine Gardens Neighborhood Association meeting

"In the Pines"
Through April 1. The Gallery Espresso. The Gallery Espresso presents “In the Pines,” a group show featuring recent work by three up-and -coming Savannah talents: Gordon Rabut, Mariel Zayas-Bazan and Lucas Rager. The exhibit consists of drawings, paintings and etchings with a wide range of subject matter. A reception for the artists will be from 6-9 p.m. March 29.

Longtime Savannah artist Kathy Miller’s oil paintings have been a favorite of Savannahians and visitors for more than 40 years.
