Openings at First Presbyterian Day School
The First Presbyterian Day School is currently enrolling preschool children ages two, three and four for the 2013/14 school year that begins August 19. Children must be two years of age on or before September 1, 2013. The school is a Reggio-inspired full-day, year-round program serving working parents, and is a NAEYC accredited preschool program located at 540 William Hilton Parkway. Rebuilding Together Savannah Golf Tournament
11:30 a.m. March 25. Sterling Links, Richmond Hill. Rebuilding Together Savannah returns to Sterling Links in Richmond Hill for the fourth annual golf tournament March 25. All proceeds go toward the Rebuilding Together mission of bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. The $75-per-person registration fee includes golf, range balls, lunch and awards. Mulligans are available for $5 (limited to two per player). 6:30-8:30 p.m. Mondays, March 25-May 13. The Coastal Georgia Center. For students with some experience in fiction and non-fiction storytelling. Includes assigned readings, writing homework and workshop-style critiques by the instructor and classmates. Covers narrative structure and scenic writing, dialogue, character, place, word choice, rhythm, pacing and revision. The cost is $200. First Bryan Baptist Church March Madness Revival
7 p.m. Every Tuesday in March. Historic First Bryan Baptist Church, the Mother Church of all black Baptists, will host special March Madness Revival services at 7 p.m. every Tuesday in March. Pastor Aaron James and the First Bryan members invite the entire Savannah community as well as surrounding counties to hear God’s message from four greatly anointed ministers. The closer for First Bryan’s March Madness Revival on March 26 is the Rev. Dr. Charles G. Adams from Hartford Memorial Baptist Church in Detroit. Dr. Charles G. Adams is a William and Lucille Nickerson professor of the practice of ethics and ministry, Harvard Divinity School.
Ray Ellis Spring Exhibition
