‘A Tropical Affair’ auditions
6:30 p.m. March 28. Jenkins Hall Black Box Theater, Armstrong Atlantic State University. The Armstrong Atlantic State University Department of Art, Music & Theatre announces auditions for “A Tropical Affair” by Jack Simmons at 6:30 p.m. March 28 in Jenkins Hall Black Box Theater. Experimenting with creative art techniques
10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursdays, March 28-May 16. The Coastal Georgia Center. Class covers drawing, painting and printmaking; the elements of design, including line, shape, size, direction, texture, tone and color; and the principles of design, including sequence, unity, proportion, emphasis and balance. Maundy Thursday service
6:45 p.m. March 28. First Presbyterian Church, 520 Washington Ave. First Presbyterian Church will hold a Maundy Thursday service on March 28 at 6:45 p.m. Rev. Robert Wallace will preach, the Handbell Choir play and Holy Communion will be celebrated. All are welcome.

Living Hope hosts Resurrection Weekend
7 p.m. March 28; 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. March 31. Living Hope Community Fellowship, 5008 Augusta Road. Living Hope Community Fellowship invites you to join them for Resurrection Weekend on March 28 and 31. Experience worship, drama and dance with the youth on Thursday and join them for spirit-filled worship, music and communion on Easter Sunday.

March featured artists at Gallery 209
March. Gallery 209, 209 River St. Gallery 209 will feature the work of artists Kathy Miller and Linda Whitt Smith in the month of March. Longtime Savannah artist Kathy Miller’s oil paintings have been a favorite of Savannahians and visitors for more than 40 years. Linda’s crystalline glazed ceramics are created using several different types of glazes. Open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Contemporary prints from Hungary
March. Savannah Center for Fine Art, 41 Drayton St. Savannah Center for Fine Art is pleased to announce an exhibition of prints published by 11 of Hungary’s leading graphic artists. The exhibition will run through the end of March. Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.

“Sojourn in an Irish County: Images from County Mayo”
March and April. The Hospice Savannah Art Gallery, 1352 Eisenhower Drive. Tim Coy shares images from his 2010 visit to the towns, villages, countryside and rugged coastline of County Mayo, Ireland with two superb photographers, Ron Rosenstock and the renowned Paul Caponigro.
