A Bloomingdale man has been arrested on drugs and weapons charges following a six-month investigation by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office Drug Suppression Unit.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office investigators executed a search warrant early Thursday morning at a residence in the 100 block of Pecan Grove Boulevard.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman David Ehsanipoor said investigators found two methamphetamine labs, prescription pills, ICE, morphine, and 13 firearms.
Larry Lunsford, 42, of Bloomingdale was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, along with several other drug charges.
Sheriff’s investigators believe Lunsford has been supplying several types of different drugs to people in both Effingham and Chatham Counties as well in other areas in the region, Ehsanipoor said.
Deputies also seized a truck and two four wheelers.
