10 a.m. March 30. Beachside parking lot in front of North Beach Grill, Tybee Island. Savannah State University students are hosting their next Springtime Beach Sweep in partnership with Tybee Beautification Association and the City of Tybee Island March 30 in the North Beach area. Volunteers will be meeting in the beachside parking lot in front of North Beach Grill at 10 a.m. to obtain supplies and instructions. For more information, call 912-472-5071.
Community Easter Egg Hunt
10:30 a.m. March 30. Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church, 450 N. Cromwell Road. Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church will host its annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on March 30. Along with the egg hunt, the children will be decorating eggs and cookies and doing other crafts. All children are welcome. There is no cost to participate. Alee’s annual chicken dinner
April 10-12. Buy a dinner for yourself, your co-worker or donate a dinner to families of our soldiers at Hunter Army Air Field. The Army Chaplain will arrange the distribution of dinners on the base. The cost is $8 per dinner. Pick-up/delivery from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. Call the Alee office at 912-355-2422. Proceeds benefit the Alee Shriners. Deadline to order is April 3.
Tybee Arts Association to perform ‘Til Beth Do Us Part’
March 30 and April 5-7. Black Box Theater/Tybee ARTS Center, 7 Cedarwood Drive. The Tybee Arts Association Performing Society has scheduled its first play of the year, a rollicking comedy on the perils of being too busy and delegating too much. In “Til Beth Do Us Part,” a harried home executive hires Beth to be her assistant and as Beth takes over all decisions and aspects of the couple’s life, her husband and friends attempt to intervene — come see the solution! Friday and Saturday evening performances start at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees start at 3:30 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before seating for socializing and viewing the art on display. Tickets are $18 for the general public and $15 for Tybee Arts Association members at the door. Reservations are suggested. Call 912-786-5920 to reserve seating.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
10 a.m. March 30. Reidsville Middle School. The E.E. Foundation Inc. will host the 32nd annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 30. All donations are tax-deductible. Legends of Gospel Music Tour
2 p.m. March 30. Screven Speedway. On Easter weekend, March 30, the “Legends of Gospel Music Tour” will roll into Sylvania, Georgia at the Screven Speedway “Star Stage” for a fun day of music and activities for the family. Featured Artists on stage will be legendary names of Gospel, featuring the Blackwood Quartet, Chuck Wagon Gang, Florida Boys and the exciting Dove Brothers with their live stage band.
