Three people escaped serious injuries Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash that closed Ogeechee Road for several hours, Savannah-Chatham police reported.
Sharon Dallas, 52; Bryant Dallas, 18; and Josie Richardson, 48, all of Savannah, were transported to hospitals for treatment after the 7:37 a.m. crash on Ogeechee Road at Stiles Avenue, police said.
Police said Sharon Dallas was driving a white 2004 Chevrolet Venture minivan on Stiles Avenue and entered Ogeechee Road in the path of a 2005 Hyundai Tucson driven by Richardson. Bryant Dallas was a passenger in the minivan, police said.
Savannah-Chatham police’s Major Accident Investigation Team continues to investigate the collision.
Police reopened all lanes of Ogeechee Road at Stiles Avenue shortly before 10 a.m.
