More than 5,000 participants ran or walked Saturday morning in the fifth annual Savannah Susan G. Komen Run for the Cure.

Hundreds of breast cancer survivors, family members and supporters particpated in the run that winded through Savannah's Historic District and finished at Telfair Square.
Event organizers said the 5K raised well more than $200,000, easily surpassing their goal.
