Lawfest 2013 “Ribbon Cutting”
7 p.m. May 10. National Guard Armory. The WW Law Foundation presents— Lawfest 2013 “Ribbon Cutting” with Mayor Edna Jackson and Chatham County Chairman Al Scott, May 10. Enjoy this celebration of Westley Wallace Law with food, games, carnival rides and an educational exhibit for kids about the life of W.W. Law. A reception will follow. Free piano concert
7:30 p.m. May 10. Messiah Lutheran Church, 1 West Ridge Road, Skidaway Island. Prize winning young pianist Fei-Fei Dong will perform works of Clementi, Chopin, Schumann, and Debussy May 10 at Messiah Lutheran Church. Dong, a full scholarship student of Dr. Yoheved Kaplinsky, graduated in the summer of 2012 from The Juilliard School and is now continuing her studies as a Masters student at Juilliard. The concert is free but donations are accepted.

Tim and Annie Concert
7 p.m. May 10. Wilmington Island United Methodist Church, Wilmington Island Road. Tim and Annie’s emotional performance will inspire prayer, laughter, a few tears, and maybe even some dancing. Tim and Annie combine the original songs from their album with contemporary hits, traditional favorites, and new interpretations of classic hymns to create a truly unique brand of Christian music that is as exciting as it is moving. Child care will be provided for preschoolers. Light refreshments will follow the concert.

Chick-fil-A® Leadercast®
9 a.m. May 10. The Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St. Community business leaders can access the knowledge and experience of world-renowned leaders by attending Chick-fil-A® Leadercast®  at Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah on May 10. It is a one-day leader development event broadcast live from Atlanta. Speakers include, Jack Welch, Former Chairman and CEO of General Electric, Andy Stanley, Best-selling leadership author and communicator, Mike Krzyzewski, Head men’s basketball coach, Duke University and Team USA and many more. Lawyers Guns and Money Sporting Clays Tournament
1 p.m. May 10. Forest City Gun Club. The Savannah Young Lawyers, contestants in the 2013 Kiss-a-Pig Campaign, are hosting a clay shoot May 10 at Forest City Gun Club. Registration opens at  1 p.m. with trap/5-stand/skeet available. The tournament starts at 3 p.m. and barbecue and live music by the Train Wrecks starts at 5 p.m. The fee is $600 for a four-man team and includes 50 targets/50 shells per person, golf cart and after party admission. There are cash prizes for top team and top male and female shooter. Tea in the Garden at the Davenport House
4:30 p.m. May 10, 16, 17; 5 p.m. May 24, 30, 31. Davenport House Museum, 324 E. State St. Learn about tea traditions and experience an early 19th-century tea in Davenport House’s beautiful courtyard garden. Patrons will visit areas of the home where tea service took place and participate in an afternoon tea with costumed interpreters in the garden. The performance requires guests to be able to walk up and down stairs. The cost is $18, and reservations are recommended as space is limited. For more information, call 912-236-8097.

Savannah Sacred Harp Singers
1-4 p.m. May 11. Faith Primitive Baptist Church, 3212 Bee Road. Everyone that loves to sing is invited to join the Savannah Sacred Harp Singers on Saturday, May 11 at Faith Primitive Baptist Church. SCAD Sand Arts Festival
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 10. The Savannah College of Art and Design presents this annual festival, which features sand art on the beach. This creative event takes place on the North Beach near the Tybee Island Lighthouse, North Beach Bar & Grill and Tybee Island Museum. Spectators are welcome to check out the imaginative 3-D designs. Smart Living Expo & Health Fair
9 a.m.-1 p.m. May 10. Armstrong Center, 13040 Abercorn St. St. Joseph’s/Candler presents the Smart Living Expo & Health Fair on Friday, May 10 at the Armstrong Center. This event, both fun and informative, will include several free screenings, including glaucoma, body mass index, and asthma, as well as blood pressure checks, spine evaluations, and more!
