ATLANTA (AP) — Traffic is moving again on an Atlanta freeway after a high speed chase, a crash and an investigation into a possible explosive device prompted lane closures.

Cobb County police Sgt. Dana Pierce says the ordeal began Monday morning when a woman walked into a SunTrust Bank branch claiming she had an explosive device.

Police say they pursued the suspect until she crashed and overturned on Interstate 75 near Mount Paran Road late Monday morning. State transportation officials say speeds in the chase reached 120 mph.

Pierce said the suspect was apprehended after the crash. WSB-TV video showed a bomb-sniffing dog searching around the overturned vehicle.

All lanes of I-75 in the area, near Atlanta's northwestern edge, were shut down early Monday afternoon.
