The victims of a triple shooting Thursday afternoon on Savannah's west side were breathing and talking before they were transported to Memorial University Medical Center, a Savannah-Chatham police official said.
Investigators remain on scene at Richards and Eagle streets, just south of Sustainable Fellwood Homes, where a male and two females were shot just before 12:45 p.m.
Savannah-Chatham police Maj. Larry Branson said his officers were working to piece together information about what led to the shooting and were in the process of searching for suspects.
Despite some conflicting reports from witnesses, Branson said he was confident the suspects would be found. There were video cameras in the area of the incident that police were reviewing, he added.
