A woman initially thought to have fled the area after illegally taking custody of her daughter is now thought to be traveling with two young children.

An investigation by Savannah-Chatham police Special Victims Unit detectives showed 31-year-old Marcelle Jefferies is traveling with her infant daughter in addition to 2-year-old Gracie Lynn Jefferies, said Eunicia Baker, police spokeswoman.

The infant, Shiloh Isaacs, is a 4-month old female. The older child was taken from Jefferies’ mother’s house May 16. The child’s father has full custody of the 2-year-old, and police have previously stated they were concerned for her welfare.

Warrants have been filed against Jefferies for interference with custody.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jefferies or her daughters is asked to call Emergency 911 immediately.
