The Savannah Film Festival is adding a second 3D movie to its 2012 lineup, organizers announced Monday evening.
"The Amazing Spider-Man," starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, will screen at 9 a.m. Oct. 31 at Trustees Theater in downtown Savannah. The film from Marvel Entertainment and Columbia Pictures made its U.S. debut in July.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Spider-Man's creator, the legendary Stan Lee of Marvel Comics. Lee will be honored at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 with the festival's Lifetime Achievement Award.
The 2012 Savannah Film Festival runs Oct. 27-Nov. 3. Among this year's highlights is the addition of 3D screenings, which also will include DreamWorks' "Rise of the Guardians" at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 at Trustees Theater.
