A Savannah man wanted on charges of armed robbery and armed kidnapping was arrested by the United States Marshals Service, Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Savannah-Chatham Patrol units on Wednesday.
Andrea Octavianus White, 56, is wanted by the Marion County, Fla., Sheriff’s Department on warrants from an incident that happened in April of 2009 in Ocala, Fla., said Tommy Long, spokesman for the service.
A law enforcement source provided information to the Marshals Task Force that placed White in the 2000 block of East 58th Street in Savannah.
White was arrested without incident and transported to the Chatham County jail to await extradition back to Florida.
