A Guyton man has been charged with multiple burglaries and entering autos in Efingham County.
The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office charged 27-year-old Hunter Roberts in the cases reported on Jabez Jones Road near Ga. 17 South, said Sheriff’s spokesman David Ehsanipoor.
“ ECSO investigators discovered that one of the entering auto items included a stolen credit card that was used at a Pooler Walmart,” Ehsanipoor said.
Through video surveillance, investigators were able to identify Roberts.
The suspect is currently in the Chatham County jail on charges including driving under the influence. Ehsanipoor said he will be taken to the Effingham County jail to face the two counts of burglary and two counts of entering auto. Additional charges could be added as the investigation continues, Ehsanipoor said.
