A 22-year-old man charged with a Westside Savannah murder and the shootings of two others was indicted Wednesday by a Chatham County Grand Jury.
Mark Allen Adkins Jr. was indicted on charges of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, four counts of aggravated assault, five counts of possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, and being a recidivist in his role in the May 15 triple shooting at the intersection of Eagle and Richard streets that killed 24-year-old Frederick Early and wounded two young women.
The case was presented by Chatham County Assistant District Attorney Christy Barker, said Daniel Baxter, spokesman for the district attorney’s office.
