Savannah-Chatham police detectives are asking the public’s help with identifying a man who robbed a southside Savannah convenience store Saturday morning.
A stocky black male wearing a light T-shirt and dark baseball cap walked into the Cirkle K in the 8900 block of White Bluff Road about 2:30 a.m. The man wore socks over his hands and face and appeared to have a weapon in his hand under the garmet, said police spokesman Julian Miller.
After entering the store the man ordered the clerk to put the cash drawer on the counter. Miller said he then grabbed the money and walked out.
Anyone with information on the identity and/or location of the suspect is asked to call Crimestoppers at 912-234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637). Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
