A Guyton woman has been charged with reckless conduct following the accidental shooting of two teenagers.
Samantha King, 20, was arrested on Aug. 31 when she threw a rifle off of the porch of a residence, Effingham County Sheriff’s Office spokesman David Ehsanipoor said.
“The firearm discharged, firing into the Griffin Lake store and striking two 17-year-old females,” Ehsanipoor said.
The incident occurred during a domestic dispute at a residence near the store.
The teenagers were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
“There is no indication King discharged the firearm intentionally,” Ehsanipoor said.
