ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Georgia would've preferred not to put itself in another hole.
That said, the Bulldogs certainly know they can climb out.
Georgia started 0-2 a couple of years ago, then ripped off 10 straight wins and claimed the Southeastern Conference East Division title. Last year, the Bulldogs were blown out 35-7 by South Carolina, yet came back again to reach the SEC title game and nearly pulled off an upset of Alabama that would've sent them to the national championship game.
Well, here they are again. The Bulldogs opened with a 38-35 loss at Clemson, which knocked the team from fifth to 11th in the latest Top 25 rankings. On Saturday, the Bulldogs have another tough game when they host SEC rival and No. 6 South Carolina (1-0) between the hedges.
