ALAMO, Ga. — Authorities in are searching for an inmate they say escaped from a jail in south Georgia.
The Wheeler County Sheriff's Office and state agencies are searching for the inmate, who is accused of escaping from custody around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say the inmate, Raymond Rod Solomon, is considered dangerous, but not armed. Authorities say he was being held on a methamphetamine charge.
