Chatham County deputy sheriffs on Wednesday will be participating in Halloween Candy patrols through a dozen or so neighborhoods locally to make Halloween as safe as possible for Trick or Treaters.
Sheriff Al St Lawrence and chief deputy Roy Harris will head the effort which will include passing out Halloween bags, reflective wrist bands and candy in targets communities including Thunderbolt, Yamacraw Village, Kayton Homes, Ashley Midtown, Pennsylvania Avenue, Berwick Lakes and Georgetown.
