Three people were arrested last night and are accused of selling drugs to undercover agents in Effingham County.
The “buy-bust” drug operation was last night in Foxbow Farms off of U.S. 80, said Sheriff’s Office Spokesman David Ehsanipoor.
Jessica Caylor, 29, of Pooler, and Joseph Wilson, 36, of Bloomingdale, sold Roxicodone to members of the drug suppression team, Ehsanipoor said.
A third person, Courtney Johnson, 20, of Bloomingdale, was accused of selling methamphetamine to agents.
After Johnson was arrested, she briefly escaped but was apprehended.
Caylor and Wilson are charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and conspiracy to commit a drug-related crime.
Johnson is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and escape.
All three are in the Effingham County Jail.
