A Pooler man was indicted Wednesday on a charge of criminal attempt to commit malice murder in the Sept. 5 attack at a neighbor’s home.
Dowaine McKenzie, 30, intentionally stabbed the victim, Angelique Domingo, with his acts constituting a substantial step toward commission of the crime, the Chatham County grand jury determined in a four-count indictment.
McKenzie also was indicted on charges of aggravated assault by stabbing with a knife, aggravated battery by choking, and burglary at the victim’s home at 308 Garden Acres Way.
Domingo survived the attack.
