A man wanted by the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics team for producing methamphetamine in Garden City has been caught, but agents are searching for another person.

Wednesday morning CNT agents located 36-year-old Dustan Lax, of Garden City, at a Pooler hotel after people called in tips about his whereabouts, said Gene Harley, CNT spokesman.

Now agents are searching  for 32-year-old Casey Renee Horn, also known as Casey Sloan, of Pooler for questioning. She is also wanted by the Chatham County Sherrif’s Office on contempt of court charges.

The pair is suspected of cooking meth at a residence in the 4800 block ofOld Louisville Road. Harley said a meth lab at that location blew up on Sunday while Lax and Horn were cooking the drugs.

CNT thanked the public for its help in capturing Lax, Harley said.

Anyone with information concerning Horn’s whereabouts is asked to contact CNT at 912-652-3900 or call Crime Stoppers at 912-234-2020 where callers can remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
