A 24-year-old man has been charged with the November 2011 shooting death of a Savannah musician.
U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Savannah-Chatham police detectives and K-9 officers Wednesay afternoon captured Malcolm Kwame Brown at a building in the 200 block of Avery Street, said Julian Miller, police spokesman.
Brown was identified by Savannah-Chatham homicide detectives as the man who shot 34-year-old Jonathan David Brazell just before 7 a.m. Nov. 13 near the intersection of Atwood and Seminole streets in the Paradise Park neighborhood.
Brazell was declared dead after being transported to Memorial University Medical Center.
