Stuff a Bus Toy Drive
7 a.m.-9 p.m. Nov. 26-Nov. 30. Oglethorpe Mall. Y107.9 is hosting a round the clock toy drive campaign for the Marine Corps “Toys for Tots 2012” Kicking off Monday, Nov. 26 at 7 a.m. and running continuously until 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov.30 at Oglethorpe Mall. Y107.9 DJ Brad Wells will live inside an RV donated by Dick Gore’s RV World in the Oglethorpe Mall parking lot in an attempt to fill the RV with new, unwrapped toys that will benefit Chatham, Effingham, Beaufort and Jasper county children in need. Donations will be accepted at any hour during the toy drive.

2013 Tax Update in Savannah
Nov. 26 and Nov. 27. GA Continuing Education Center, 305 Fahm St. Professional Tax Institute is providing 2013 tax update in Savannah sponsored by Ga. Assoc. of Enrolled Agents to be held on full days on Nov. 26, and 27, 2012 at the GA Continuing Education Center. CPE may be available for EAs, CPAs, tax attorneys, and RTRPs. Pastoral Anniversary
7 p.m. Nov. 27, 28, 29, 30 and Dec. 2. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 5863 Ogeechee Road. The members of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate the five year anniversary of Pastor Jerome William Baker and First lady Cleo Baker Nov.27-Dec. 2. Pastor Scotty Mitchell will be in charge of services at 7 p.m. Nov. 27 and 28. Pastor Marc Williams will lead services Nov. 29. Pastor Brian Butler will lead the service Nov. 30 and Rev. Dr. Lexcie Aiken and St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church will close the anniversary at 4 p.m. Dec. 2.

“Local Flavor”
Through Dec. 6. Lowcountry Gourmet Foods, 10 West Broughton St. Joanne Morton, artist/curator is pleased to host her first art show at Lowcountry Gourmet Foods in Savannah. Artists represented through Dragonfly Studio, Tybee Island make up the eight artists exhibited as part of the “Local Flavor” art show.

JEA to feature Brad Hook
Nov. 1 through Nov. 30. Jewish Educational alliance, 5111 Abercorn St. A self-taught watercolor artist, Brad Hook, has been painting for over 35 years. Often referred to as “The painter of trees,” his love of nature and botanicals shows in his life-like recreations of the sights of the area. Just looking at his paintings of many types of trees makes you want to reach out and feel the bark. His flowers, you can almost smell the sweet aroma. His birds are so life like that you can almost see the tiny feathers flowing in the wind.
