Magnolia Street in Guyton is closed tonight following a high-speed pursuit and crash.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office spokesman David Ehsanipoor said the chase occurred following a hit-run accident at Courthouse and Midland Road.
Deputies spotted the suspect and ended the pursuit with a PIT maneuver.
One female is in custody.
Only non-life threatening injuries were reported in the hit and run. No injuries were reported from the chase.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
The sheriff’s office will release more details on Tuesday.
