Empty Stocking: Mother of disabled child needs help

Toni has two small children, a 7-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy. Like many single mothers, she is their sole caretaker. She works to bring home food for them, to keep a roof over their head and to make sure they do well in school.

But amid of all that, Toni has a few more bumps in her road than most single mothers. Her son has a severe disability. As a result, she can only work certain hours during the day. Sometimes she simply can’t fit in as many hours of work as she would like.

With medical bills topping off her struggle, Toni wants little more than to provide her children with a joyful Christmas. With no family left to provide assistance, their Christmas is up to Toni’s hard work and a little help from the Empty Stocking fund.

The Empty Stocking Fund was created to put smiles on the faces of children who are struggling during the holiday season. Contributions will be acknowledged in the manner requested by donors.
