Bonaventure Cemetery tours
2 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3 p.m. June 10. Bonaventure Cemetery. Bonaventure Historical Society conducts tours of Bonaventure Cemetery on the second Sunday of each month. Tours begin at 2 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. Each tour lasts about an hour and there is no charge, but donations are welcome. Sand Gnats game to benefit Goodwill
When you buy tickets for the June 13 Savannah Sand Gnats game from local Goodwill retail locations, Goodwill gets funds to help local programs that serve our area. The first 200 children ages 12 and under only at Grayson Stadium will get a free Webkinz. The park opens at 6 p.m. and game time is 7:05 p.m. The Sand Gnats will play the Charleston, S.C. RiverDogs. In addition, the Sand Gnats will donate 50 cents for every person who enters Grayson Stadium June 13 with a ticket purchased through Goodwill. If Goodwill sells 1,000 tickets and those 1,000 people come to the game, the Sand Gnats will donate an additional $500.
Goodwill retail locations in Savannah, Pooler and Richmond Hill will be selling discounted tickets to the June 13 Savannah Sand Gnats game for $5 to generate funding for local programs that serve our area. No limits on number of tickets purchased. To purchase tickets for Goodwill’s Pack the Park Night, please call 912-354-6611 ext. 107.

Fort McAllister offers Junior Ranger Summer
9 a.m.-1 p.m. June 25-June 29 and July 9-July 13. Fort McAllister Park, 3894 Fort McAllister Road. Fort McAllister State Historic Park will hold its Junior Ranger Summer Camp June 25 thru June 29, and July 9 thru July 13 for children ages 8 to 12. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. daily. The camp cost $75 per child. There is a limit of 30 campers for each week. The camp activities will include learning about the fort and its history, canoeing, nature walks, archaeology, wildlife education, games, and much more. The deadline to register for the week of June 25 is June 15, and the registration deadline for the week of July 9 is June 29.
