Regular customers filed in and out of the Clary’s Café on Habersham Street Thursday for the final time.
The restaurant that’s been in that location for more than 14 years will close its doors for good at 4 p.m. Thursday, said its owner, Patricia Jan Wilson.
“It’s a tough and emotional day, but it’s also a good day, too,”Wilson said. “This is not something I had to do; I’m not going under or anything like that.”
The original location at404 Abercorn Streetis staying open, said Wilson, who bought both establishments about nine years ago.
“I’ve still go the downtown location, and it’s not going anywhere,” she said.
