A 24-year-old man received non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon after he was shot in downtown Savannah.
Savannah-Chatham police spokesman Julian Miller said the man was shot near his home about 2 p.m. at the intersection of Fahm and Zubly street in Yamacraw Village.
The victim was found by police at a construction site several blocks away, Miller said.
He added the investigation was continuing Wednesday night.
