A winning lottery ticket worth $300,000 was sold in Garden City, the Georgia Lottery announced.
The store 80 Quick Stop, located at 305 U.S. Highway 80 W. in Garden City, sold the winning ticket from the $3,000,000 Taxes Paid instant game.
Larry Swain, of Garden City, claimed his prize Tuesday at the Georgia Lottery’s District Office in Savannah, lottery officials announced.
“I am going to lie around and daydream on what I’m going to do,” Swain, who will celebrate his 67th birthday in March, said in a statement.
The Georgia Lottery instant game $3,000,000 Taxes Paid has prizes of $300,000 and top prizes of $3 million, taxes paid. Players with non-winning tickets can enter into the Weekly Extra Chance Drawings for a chance to win $20,000.
