ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta Public Schools officials say nearly two dozen middle school students are being evaluated for severe itching.
WXIA-TV (http://on.11alive.com/Xx84Yk ) reports 21 students at Brown Middle School in southwest Atlanta were taken to Hughes Spalding Hospital Monday afternoon.
Officials are unsure of what caused the students' skin to itch. Atlanta Public Schools Spokesman Steven Alford says the students were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Officials say no hives or rashes have been reported.
