Port-a-potties in high demand at St. Patrick's Day parade

When you really have to go not even a parade can distract you, but long lines at the port-a-potties were a challenge for some.

By 11 a.m., the line for the port-a-potties on the side of Chippewa Qquare stretched back to Perry Street from McDonough. John Oswald of Broomfield, Colo., nearly caused a riot when he briefly held up the line to speak with a reporter.

"This is my first time at St. Patrick's Day in Savannah," Oswald said. "I came in Thursday night. My sister-in-law lives outside of Brunswick so we had a cheap place to stay."
